Words Rock! is a comprehensive vocabulary, spelling, and grammar drill and review software disguised as a 'find the hidden slug' game, reminiscent of the traditional Battleship game. In this iteration, users need to answer a query every two turns of slug hunting (SuperKids).
An updated version (v. 2) meant for contemporary Macs is available for purchase from the creator.
DL #1 has the "Home Version,"
DL #2 has the "School Version,"
DL #3 has the "Network Version,"
These versions all come as Mac/PC disc images.
Home Version:
Compatible with Mac OS 9.2, OS X 10.1.5
Requires 32 MB RAM
There was an error installing the Home Version on Mac OS 9.2.2. However, the software installed on OS X operates natively in both Mac OS 9 and OS X.
School & Network Versions:
Designed for Mac OS X only
Requires 48 MB RAM
Supports 800 x 600 display and thousands of colours.
